Old friends...

So I was online, and I thought," why not try and find some old friends online?" we'll I found them...all on twitter. Mostly I should say. Seeing as I haven't talked to them since after eighth grade ended (two years ago).... Should I maybe try to get in contact? See if they still recognize me and my name? I learned one is a rapper... And he has an ep going out on iTunes sooner or later.... Wanna help me out?

Sure! Why not try to contact them back! It's fun to get a message from someone I haven't seen in a very long time! And especially when I'm going through things, because then we both can just meet up, talk about our lives and what not. But just saying a hey, how are you doing? can honestly lead into a friendship again! So I would so go for it, and see where it leads too!

Getting in contact with old friends can be a more than good thing. Social Networking's biggest advantage has been getting old friends who have lost contact back in touch with each other.

A few points to remember:


People change within 2 years so even if you do remember them don't be surprised if they have changed.

Don't be surprised if some of them might not remember you off the ball. 2 year without contact is a longtime.

Make sure it is the people you know. Nothing more worse or embarrassing than contact someone full of high hopes and then finding out they are not the person you were meaning to contact.

no harm in trying - maybe you lack the confidence or whatever -

you should at least make the effort cos freindship is like the greatest thing yes or maybe no as you seem so unsure.

people change massively. make sure that you learn a bit about them before you try to get back in their lives.

Doooo it. Even if you've changed and they've changed and you're all completely different, It would still be nice to see how they are and what's going on in their lives.
