I don't get it. But for some reason every time I go to sleep I don't dream, it's just blank. Most of the time, time doesn't speed up either. It's slow, I just have to wait to wake up. Advice?

You do dream, you just forget what you dreamt about. A lot of people forget their dreams.

No I don't forget everyone says that! They're actually blank, purely blank. It's all black, I know I'm asleep cause I can't move or anything I'm stuck. I'm dreaming blackness.

Well then you weren't fully asleep, because when you are dreaming you are completely asleep and don't feel your body physically in the real world, but in your dream you do feel your body in the imaginary world.

..Then I'm confused, cause I feel neither. I'm like stuck. It feels like I'm stuck in concrete or something. 'eh maybe I'm just..weird. x.x

Well if you want info on your dreams, then look it up. I know wikepedia explains what dreams are, and probably has info that explains why you aren't remembering or dreaming.

This is really odd. I've never heard of it before. Did this just start happening? Have you ever remembered a time when you've dreamed before?

if you experience blackness and actually arent forgetting anything, then youre not getting fully to sleep. youre only in the first couple stages of sleep and not entering the deepsleep stages.

Maybe you just forgot about it.

Everyone dreams. If you sleep the recommended healthy amount, youll dream roughly five times per night. Its just people forget easily. You could start a dream journal, write down what you dream as soon as you wake up, you'll train your brain to remember your dreams (:

To try to remember your dreams that you DO have, tell yourself repeatedly before you fall asleep "I will remember my dreams.". Say it over and over until you finally fall asleep and I guarantee you will remember at least one dream

You aren't getting REM(Rapid eye movement) sleep. This may be because of not getting 8+ hours of sleep. REM generally starts at like the 6 hour of continuous sleep.

You dream without knowing it because some dreams are so fast, or even possibly you don't remember or realize it when your dreaming.

It's just blank, I'm sure I'm not forgetting them and stuff. The closest logic is that I'm just dreaming blank but it takes forever to wake up from =.= eh..I'm used to it now I guess.
Thanks all!

if you dont dream in your sleep it means you dont have a fear of dying and you get better sleep and if you do dream in your sleep it means your sleeping too lightly and are afraid of dying

There's two ways you can be able to actually experience existence, that's when you're either awake, or dreaming. This blank thing is strange because if you're asleep without dreaming you shouldn't even be experiencing the blank.

A fear of death though is pretty pointless if you think about it though, but thanks for the info!

Aaron, I've studied psychology some. Let me give you a few helpful facts:
When you're awake, you're in your Conscious Mind. It controls things like puzzle solving, and more or less interactions with the world.
When you're sleeping, you're in your Subconscious Mind. It controls things behind you're normal thinking. It's also where memories are kept.
Before you fall asleep certain people experience Sleep Paralysis. That is when you're aware of your surroundings, but not able to open yours eyes, moves limbs, or speak.
There are several stages of sleep, but dreaming occurs in Rapid Eye Movement, or REM. Dreams allow us to things about things, and work them over inside our head without taking from our waking hours.
Each person dreams somewhere between 3-8times a night, while rarely remembering any of them. The mind only remembers a dreams if the dream is particularly intriguing.
I hope that helped. =]

I find that having some focus on some thoughts lets you dream on something related to that
I've had some dreams that way.
Maybe your dreamlessness is because you don't get much sleep,or you're tense or something similar.
Try googling about lucid dreams. There are some methods to try and dream while awake I've heard from some people.

Quite the contrary you dream every night, you just might forget them once you wake up.

If you say to yourself over and over before you fall asleep "I will dream tonight" it kind of puts you in to a dreaming mentality. Maybe try that?
