Meh, the shoulders and legs are a little disproportionate, but other than that it's pretty good. People are hard to draw anyways. :)

Thank you, and yes, people are even harder for me since I rarely do them. But practice makes perfect! :D

I don't like it. The face is so....Blah. The female parts are so...Blah. No offence.

None taken! I rarely draw humanistic features, so I'm not that great. You would cringe if you saw my other works. But Every opinion matters to me. It just inspires me to work a little bit harder. :)

mmm...

What is lacking there is - yes, I know, I always point out the same thing over and again - structure. Build a skeleton, a stick figure with proper propertions first, and then flesh it out. That's a little more work, of course, but this will give you much better results overall.

What helps is also drawing from life. Find photos of people with a pose similar to what you are trying to do. You can find many on deviantArt (search for stock pictures). This is especially helpful to understand how muscle shapes change or how light and shadows should be placed.

The eraser is your best friend. When a line doesn't go properly, erase and redraw. No shame in that. See how her leg line at the right is broken in two ? That's one of the places where a simple erase & correct would suffice.

Finally, don't target the "manga" style specifically - draw your figure as best as you can without bothering about mimicking styles. You'll soon be able to decide by yourself what you want to simplify and how.

Hope this helps!

That does help a lot actually. I'll do that next time, and hopefully it will help!
Thank You~

Sorry for necro (or whatever it's called.) posting, but you should state that you are re-creating an original drawing from someone else.

The original artists goes by the name Slugbox on Deviantart. (http://browse.deviantart.com/?order=9&q=sexy+rainbow+dash&offset=24#/d3hhiik)

Lol that's not necro.

You can tell it's very furry based, but some practice should make perfect, like literally. That's I do to get better at drawing, keep drawing xD.

Oh God, I didn't give credit, did I. I thought I did. I better be careful next time. I'll fix that, thank you for telling me!

Eh. It's pretty good. Her right leg needs to be shaped up and her face looks so pinched. That's my only problem. Her facial features need to look more relaxed and not Crammedintoateenytinyspace. Her eyes need some hardcore work done. Where are her eyelashes? ;) A Humanized Rainbow Dash, or any Humanized anything needs every ounce of help it can get. It's pretty hard to go from Cute, blocky, cubby, cutesy, Rainbow Dash, to a sexy, slim, devious looking human girl. Open her eyes a little with some defined eyelashes, or any eyelashes at all, raise her eyebrows just a tad, and angle her eyes so the inside corners aren't pointing down as much. After looking harder at her face, I noticed her eyes aren't symmetrical. I personally have a hard time getting eyes to look just right, so I know how it feels. Sense this is a full face shot, with her looking straight out, there is no need for her eyes to not look the same. The inside points, or where the top line meets the bottom line, need to be perfectly alined. If you have trouble with this, simply use a ruler and make sure the dots are straight. If you simply cannot get it right, just erase the worst of the two eyes, and re-draw it winking ;) That will make her look more open and friendly, rather that a demon insurance saleslady without her make-up. ~holli
