I have trouble reaching some high notes when I sing.it sounds very squeaky.
Do you have trouble reaching high notes too?
Is it easier for older guys(17-18+) to reach high notes once their vocal chords have matured?

No one can sing in the middle of puberty. Once your out on the other side your voice shouuld clear up again though.

Same problem, my voice changed a lot, people now mistake me for my 19 year old bro :L I try to avoid doing high-notes...

During puberty your voice is changing and you will go through a period of time when you will find it hard to sing, many people can say they can sing before puberty but after puberty....well they can't. Many teen idols have had problems signing, I mean I hate to use this example but Justin Bieber even went through a period of time when his voice was changing and it effected his high notes in his songs and his record labeled threatened to dump him. However I digress, chances are your voice shall return to a state when singing high notes won't be a major problem. However it might be that your voice never can reach high notes again or it will take some practice.
In conclusion it is hard to say if your voice shall return to a state where making high notes will be easy but all I can say is you shall find out once your voice fully breaks, as for the part about older guys 17-18 doing better with high notes, it depends on an individual basis sometimes it shall and sometimes it shall not be easy.
I hope everything works out for you and your singing in the end.

im having the same problem. ive tried singing some songs that i know i used to be able to sing in the same ovtave as the singer but now i just cant hit the notes. im afraid that my voice will not be able to hit those ever again because of my voice changing. my mom cant tell the difference between my voice and my dads voice over the phone!
This is only for my normal/chest voice. Falsetto i can still go higher than most of the sopranos in my choir.

I used to have the same problem, but I sang to myself a lot and now my vocal range is stronger and higher then it was before.

Practice your ranges daily....I am almost 20 and I still maintain a 5 octave range.

I used to have the same problem. Like, I can't go higher in falsetto anymore, can barely use it at all to be honest, my voice has gotten huskier. But in chest voice, I can go higher than usual, up to tenor C, a proud achievement for a baritone ^^

I can't sing at all, before or during (or even after?) puberty. Fortunately there's AutoTune.

Which notes are you talking about? (I am in music Theory/music ear training, at a college campus, so i am pretty familiar with musical notation.
Prefferebly, I like bass and don't really bother singing soprano or even alto really.
