Is there a such thing as guy/girl gay? I have been asked what type of gay I am twice now and I really don't know how to answer that question. I am attracted to fit, muscular, somewhat femme guys.

I think what the other person is asking you is if you're more feminine or masculine. Keep in mind, though, that we're all--not everyone in the world--is gay, so they can just leave it at that. Tell 'em we don't need to label EVERYTHING haha

Don't rush to slap labels on yourself. You're you, who cares what it's called?

If you really want to know, I'd say you would just label as homosexual who's into "femme" as you put it, guys.

You're the kind of gay that likes boys. Don't make it any more complicated than that. :)

This is for more clarification. Gays/Lesbians are judged by level femininity and masculinity, respectively. Gay males are stereotyped to be very feminine. Just like lesbians are stereotyped to act most masculine. But like I stated, those are just stereotypes. There is no girl/guy gay. It just really depends on how masculine, or feminine you act. Just because you are gay, doesn't mean you will act more feminine. I know many masculine gays. Just like not all lesbians will be all masculine. It just depends on how you were raised really. I am pretty sure they were talking about what role you play in bed. Meaning, they wanted to know if you were going to top or bottom.

You're into the same tyype of guy I'm into :) You still like guys (realllllllllllllyyyyyy like them if you're the same as me), it's just that you prefer a pretty guy as to a wide jawed, hairy, ancestors were probably in the Conan the Barbarian Movie, superman types :D . Swimmers' bodies and small, cute guys are just what float our perspective boats. (vauge innuendo/pun intended) ;)

Basically what I got out of it, too. Although I think that's a little private?

I'm with these other people. They probably are just talking about the masulinity and femininity thing.

Well for example, I'm in the middle. I talk gay, and walk like it a lil bit, but then I'm into stereotypically straight stuff for the most part, and although I enjoy shopping and stuff with girls, I enjoy the fact i'm spending time with them, not that I'm in a jewelry store or whatever :P I would die working at Charming Charlie's lol

Just be your self - let others label you if they must but you just get on and be happy - find love and laughter

alot of people associate gay with the stereotype that we all go around on our tip toes in skinny jeans and we always drink stuff with our pinkies out :P but that couldnt be any farther from the truth hahaha. really being gay has no effect on how masculine or femenine you are, i mean i dont really consider myself a femenine guy but i dont really fit the typical male. i love cooking and baking and i write poetry in my spare time, but ive met gay guys who are the captain of the football team and love nothing more than to bash their heads on the field. so i guess it all depends on who you are as a person :)

Yeah
Don't worry about it
Just be yourself
Really! I live in LA, and people are so fake and superficial, and they judge you based on a stereotype.
Even gay guys are mean amongst each other, and we're supposed to be united.

And I tend to like the same type haha
A definite guy, but a pretty and well-groomed one. I think I'm gay because I really like guys who take care of themselves and care about how they look and smell as much as I do. Haha

Are we talking about genuine curiousity or someone just being an arse and asking stuff to make you uncomfortable? Cos if the latter that is so rude.

I mean, I have no probs if it came up in friendly conversation and someone genuinely wants to talk about what I'd like to do, bearing in mind I've not done 'that' yet, and I assume they're asking cos they might be gay/bi curious plus its kind of hot to talk about stuff sometimes.

But otherwise, what the hell business of theirs is it?

I suppose they're talking about if you're a feminine or a masculine gay. I wouldn't see any offense to the question if they're being serious and are genuinely curious.
