Role-Playing Section?

I am a avid roleplayer, And have been doing it for 5 years. Anywhom, I would love if there was a role-playing section, if anyone else does it of course. :)

I think Tech Junkies Paradise could be used. This was brought up a little while ago, and I believe it was decided it wasn't really fit or necessary for a site that is predominantly help/advice based. Personally, I'm indifferent.

There is no use for this on a help/advice forum. It serves no real purpose when you could just go to a forum that is RP-based. I save that sort of thing for other forums. I can't see this ever happening due to either lack of demand or just because it's simply not what this site is for.

I personally would have to agree with the others, simply not enough demand for it. Plus, you could use dairies or even blogs.

Also, you could make a Social Group as well; but I think Tech Junkies Paradise would be the best bet.

I think we might be misunderstanding the suggestion a bit. I think the OP means live action role playing, as in actually dressing up and acting out, rather than playing a role playing game (video game).

However, creating a totally new section on the forums for something like this is pretty unnecessary and I'm sure that it wouldn't receive much traffic at all. There clearly isn't much of a demand for it since there isn't much support in this thread, and since this suggestion is not a regular one.

He proceeds to scroll down the thread, caressing his Apple magic mouse with great thought and depth as he decides he agrees with the responses given and that a diary would be better.

I was thinking of Forum-based RP...Neither video game or LARPing. Have any of you even looked at the link I posted earlier? I just wanted a section similar to that, but just in one section.

I think it'd be great to have a place to RPG on here! It might be a help/advice forum but who says that RPG doesn't help? It helps you to stretch your imagination and interact with people who you can trust and know your story. It's also a good way to get your mind off of things and waste time which could have been used to cut or drink. I think it's a great idea and I would love to be a part of it :)

Either way, a forum wouldn't be made to be dedicated to this. A diary or thread in the arcade would be the best option.
