My brother is living with me. He is a heavy drinker (28) his feet stink a lot.
He just bought some no show socks at walmart this week. He needs to change socks because his feet stink so much he he uses 6 pairs of no show socks in 2 days. After he runs out of socks he uses mine. I know he doesn't have athletes foot, I think it is because he drinks a lot.

it is because his feet sweat a lot, they always have this is nothing new

But I told him to take his shoes off whenever he can. That made it worse for me lol

He wants me to examine his feet. Should I wear rubber gloves just incase it is contagious? Should I takeoff his socks with rubber gloves? Should I wash his feet thoroughly (wearing gloves)

Should I wear a surgical mask for the smell? lol JK

Tell him he needs to go and see a podiatrist. You should wear gloves because they are dealing with another human being, not because of it being contagious...also, drinking has a factor, i would think.

Dimitri is right, He needs to see a podiatrist. Whenever you're asked to handle someone else in a medical manner, you should wear gloves, simply because it's the safest thing to do. I don't know if drinking has a role in this, My father is a very heavy drinker, and I've never noticed anything off about his feet, aside from them just smelling like feet. Hope I Helped ~Holli

Yeah, I say take him to a doctor who specializes in feet. Most likely they will know what to do, because I bet a lot of people with this problem come in for help too.

Robert said it, tell him to go get it checked.

Gloves would help, I don't think you really want the smell on your hands eh?

To keep the stench away I wear socks in my slippers.
