Is having sex before at least 14 or 15 yrs. old normal?

I haven't, but I seen and heard lots of girls younger than me saying that they had sex, it felt great, and all of that. And I am 14. I have heard 11, 12, and 13 year olds saying that. Is that normal? Or are they just lying, because that's kinda what I think.

Well I lost my virginty 2 days before I turned 12 but I was drunk and high when it happened so it wasn't really that normal. I've met multiple others who've lost their virginity around or after 13 but only a few so young as my self. Either way, it's not right for anyone to have sex until they're at least 14 in my opinion.

Well I think every girl should wait until there mature enough to deal with it and at least somewhat finish with puberty so everything develops normal and stuff so id say 16 is an good age to start but trust me, you should wait until your mentally and emotionally ready for it,....plus its not a good look for a girl to already have sex and she only 12 and 13 and 14, my guy friends say that those girls are hoes anyway to be having sex at that age, but then again when I was growing up there was some girls that did it but they thought it would make them cool or something. It's sad, but true. If a couple or even one person thinks they're ready for sex, let them bang. I'm thirteen and going on fourteen and still haven't lost my virginity unlike others who won't wait for the right one. Some probably is lying to fit in with other people and some is telling the truth.

I don't think your age is the important factor. Your maturity and being responsible are more important. If you are fully aware of what you are doing and know the risks involved and make the best choices in order to protect yourself, then your age shouldn't matter.

Unfortunately it is now normal for teenagers to be losing their virginity and having sex so young. Personally I wouldn't say I agree with it really but its up to each individual as long as its safe and consensual I guess its alright. However whilst it may well be normal nowadays it isn't legal in most countries. Here the age for consensual sex is 16.

I completely agree with her. I feel pity for the "girls" who throw their childhood, their best years, away. There is plenty of time for sex and for other things, but you are only a child once.
