Okay im super new to this thread, forum stuff so if im doing something wrong tell me..
Anyways so i hear people talking about how they workout for like 40-60 minutes or even longer, when i workout it lasts maybe 5 minutes and i get tired and stuff. So I was wondering is there a way to workout 40-60minutes or longer without equipment? If not then what're ways to workout with equipment?

Thanks for the help..

It's not meant to be easy! My workouts range from 30 mins to 60 mins + cardio, depending on what muscle groups, and I feel like jelly afterwards. If it was easy, so many more people would do it.
If you have dumbbells, you can work out at home. It all depends on what you want to build for though.
For ways to workout without equipment, what areas do you want to target? (I'll also say that technically you should work all muscle groups, not one specific area, but there isn't anything wrong with focusing on one over others).

Do u mean work out as in running on a treadmill or riding a bike? or workout as in the weightlifting sense?

You have to have base fitness first, Train to train. Fit to get fitter sort of.

Maybe you are trying to much to soon / not getting you up for it.

Sleep nutrition hydration rest before and so on.

I will do weights at home and run and swim but I have a labouring job which has me shifting masses of building material and garden stuff. so I just do real heaby weights twice a week.

hope this helps

You get tired sure then push past it

You don't just get down and start pumping out press-up's until you're too tired to carry on bro; that's not how working out works; you'll get tired far too quickly and won't be able to give you're muscles the workout they need to get stronger.

I'd personally buy a pair of dumbells and start out lightly; use 5kg on each dumbell or something. Than write a workout plan. Like:

Warm Up - Five Minutes
Ten Dumbell Curls (Three Sets) As many as possible on last set. (15) (Biceps)
Fifteen Dumbell Lifts (Above Head) (Three Sets) As many as possible on last set. (25) (Biceps, Triceps and Forearms)
Fifteen Wrist Curls (Three Sets) As many as possible on last set. (20) (Forearms)
Twenty Sit Ups (Three Sets) As many as possible on last set. (25) (Abs)
Warm Down - Five Minutes

Between each set have a minutes rest and than do you're next set; have two minutes rest between each muscle group/workout and drink at least a pint of water throughout. Sip it! Do not down or gulp it, you're body can't process the shit it needs from the water fast enough if you drink it too quickly; which is why they teach you to sip water in the army. This may not look like a lot but once you get to the last set with only a minute's rest in between you're muscles should be burning, but not in pain. If you don't feel "the burn" by the time you're on the second set of the muscle group than increase either the weight or reps. Take you're time during the exercises too; if you rush through it or don't breathe properly it won't work half as well. Inhale, lift and exhale, drop and repeat. Use that during all weight exercises. Good luck, hope I helped a little.

(My brother trained me, he was trained in the army, has been to countless gyms and has been trained as a PT)

You said you were looking to work out without equipment.

I was in a similar situation a while back, because I don't like weights (waiting until I get a little older to start). Go to google and type in "exercises without weights" and try them out. If you do a couple sets and feel a burn, write it down or copy and paste it into Word. If it doesn't work, don't use it.

After you get a list, figure out how long it would take for you do the workouts, trying to get somewhere between 30-45 minutes if you're starting out, and slowly moving up to 45-60 minutes, and then increase intensity if you start beating that.

Good luck!
