I'm 15 years old and am going through puberty. I have already got hair down there and a bit under my arm pits. But now I am starting to get hair on my chest. I am personally not to keen on chest hair, but the thought of waxing it off terrifies me  So I was wondering if it would be alright to just shave it off ? Thanks in advance.

i suppose there's no harm in shaving, although you need to be careful not to cut yourself!
Eventually, though, it'll grow back, perhaps itch alot. And whatever you do, having chest hair is part of being a guy, so you might consider adjusting to that reality and just accept it.

I agree with Sam. Shaving can be too much trouble than it's worth. But if you must, be careful.

shaving it should not be an issue unless you have really sensative skin.

My worry is that it may grow back thicker, is that a possibility ?

No. Shaving or trimming any hair on your body does not make it grow back thicker. When you shave your hair in puberty, it might look like it grows in thicker. That's because you probably had some more hairs grow in after you shaved the ones that were already there :P

Go ahead and shave it if you want. I'd definitely recommend using shaving cream though, just in-case. Shaving hair doesn't make it grow back thicker, just makes it more whisker-like. This is because it cuts the ends of the hairs making them sharper.
