*** I don't normally post threads like this ***

Okay, here goes. When I was an infant. My parents made a decision. This decision was made when I was just a baby so I couldn't say: Fuck no! You crazy!!?? The decision was to get me circumcised (removal of the forskin). My main problem is that I want to know why my parents did this? I can't just walk up to my mom or dad and ask. That would be super uncomfortable to a new extreme. I think about this every fuckin day.

My question is: what should I do? Should i bring it up? (I really do not want to.) please

Most Americans are circumcised as infants. It's an extremely normal practice as many parents have the impression that it improves hygiene and some fathers want their children to look like them. If you're wondering, you can just ask.

Don't worry about being circumcised though, personally I'd prefer it much more. My boyfriend got the chop and bluntly put I prefer his penis to mine by some margin.

You should just ask. It will be awkward, but only for five minutes. You can risk a few moments of discomfort finding out the answer, or you can go your entire life not truly knowing. It's your choice.

It's perfectly acceptable to want to know why your parents made that decision for you, surely i'd rather ask it sooner than later as it sounds like this is troubling you. It'll be 5 minutes of discomfort for hopefully an answer. I'm seriously considering getting circumcised due to tight foreskin during erections, plus I think it looks better etc...
