When the shooter was arrested he warned the police that his apartment was rigged. Why do you think he did this? Was he feeling twinge of remorse, or just enjoying the idea of dealing out more torment? What do you think?

All I know is that he said he was the Joker. He went psycho and just did all this wanting to complete his fantasy based around The Dark Knight. I don't know the full story, but look it up. I'm sure it says why he did what he did.

No idea. He could have done it for a number of reasons. Remorse, tormenting, causing more drama, etc.... the list goes on and on.

He did it to harm more people. Is it that hard to understand? Rigging his apartment with gasoline, napalm, homemade grenades, and whatever the hell ELSE he had was just asking for more people to be killed. He had a timer go off on his CD player to blast loud techno music in order for someone to open the door and set off the explosives.

OP was asking why he told everybody it was rigged.

I don't think we'll ever know unless he comes right out and says it.

I think he was doing it to lure them into his apartment. To scare everyone in that complex too. When you don't know you go about your day, but when you know you want as much distance as you can and it upsets your daily life. If the trained people that disarms explosives goes in, they could find nothing. They could search very hard and find nothing. There was hysteria for nothing. If they find something, it could be near impossible to disarm. They don't know how it's rigged, they'd be going in blind and really need their skills.
