How can I stop multiple cuts on my forearm from bleeding? They haven't been gushing blood or anything, but they're still bleeding, even though they're over twenty-four hours old. They've been cleaned and bandaged, and I'm currently holding my arm over my head and trying not to move it as much as possible. I cannot seek medical help for reasons I'd rather not list, and I really need some help. Anyone have any input? Thanks ~Holli

It may take longer for the wound to heal especially if it's bandaged up and if you're interfering with the healing process. Depending on how deep the wounds are, determines how long it'll take for it to heal. The best thing you can do other than apply pressure is nothing, literally nothing. Let it heal by it's own accord and it'll scab over efficiently.

This, basically.

Try tieing a bandage round them tightly but not to tight you still want blood to get to your hands and raise your arm higher then your heart so sit on the floor and rest it on the side of the desk for 10 mins !!

I've been in your situation, try to elevate it while putting even pressure.
