bad my Minton or men's volleyball

Why aren't there men's volleyball or badminton teams in high school? Ik it sounds weird but I love volleyball and badminton (I'm straight btw) is it some regulation or something?? Ik their are men volleyball games in the Olympics and badminton games in Japan. :D that's my random thought for today! Hahaha

I agree. My school has boys' and girls' tennis and golf. But we have girls only volleyball and boys only football.

Thing is, schools have to keep the amount of sports available for boys and girl equal. If they added boys' badminton or volleyball, they'd have to find another sport for girls because the number would be off balance.

Oh that makes since!! =) thx a lot and I'm also guessing that there is some sort of sports buget that prevents a certain amount of sports programs? =)

I imagine there is a budget, yes. Although a lot of schools, mine included makes you pay for sports, which helps with the budget a lot.

But yeah, my government teacher told us that there's a law having to do with gender discrimination that requires schools to keep the number of boys sports equal to girls, but they don't have to be the same sports.

There are High School Male Volleyball teams, well atleast in my school. Badminton isn't so popular here in US hence no teams . c:
