Does anyone else on here want to be a scientist in the future? If so, what kind?

I am not wholly sure what type of science I will pursue, but right now, I would love to be an astrophysicist! I mean, what a cool job would that be? Or any kind of physics or computer science maybe. Its so hard to decide, they are all so great :) .

ME! :D Hahaha. I want to be some kind of engineer, but I'm not sure what field I really want to major in just yet. I'll figure that out on the way, I guess.. It's good pay and it's really fun. :)

I've thought about being a chemist or biologist before, and still have that on the table.

I want to be a geologist, since I like studying rocks, and I would enjoy going to places like national parks to survey land.

I've been thinking about chemistry lately. Maybe something with pharmaceuticals. I'm taking honors physics this fall, so if I'm good at that I may look into physics, because it seems pretty interesting from what I've learned on my won.

If I do go into chemistry, I'm gonna stay away from the more biological side of things. The math part is more my forte.

I'm not sure if I will go down the science path but I've also thought about being an Astrophysicist or a cosmologist.

If you do take the physics route, it will definitely incorporate a lot of math. Physics is great because it is so diverse- take nano particle physics for example. I work in a lab as a sort of intern/research assistant doing this, and there is a ton of chemistry (and even some engineering) involved in it. Physics really ties things together I feel like, I think that you will enjoy it :)

Thanks! I will definitely make a note to consider nano particle physic. If there's a lot of math and chemistry, I'll definitely like it. :)
