Telivision and Wicca/Witches

This is open to anyone who wants to answer. Do you think that telivision gives people the wrong idea of witches? Many people who are witches or are into Wicca say that it may give people the impression that a lot of visible light shows happen that actually do not. What do you think?

I've only came across witches in the series Witches and Wiccans in the 4th season of True Blood (sadly). I have no idea what the right impression should be, so I don't know if I received a wrong impression from the two shows.

Well wrong as in bad, no. Wrong as in not reality, yes. To my knowledge, Wicca is the practice of love and such and nature. I know many religions portray it as devil worshipers, while I know others believe they just respect the earth and everything has life, or something like that.

even though I believe both (witches and wicca) are just lies anyway... no it doesn't really affect me whatever happens in media
