What can I use to really lighten up my light brown hair.

Bleach will lighten it a lot but just be aware that it can destroy your hair. I killed my hair using bleach and it took me a long time to get my hair back in good condition again.

if you want lighter hair you can buy lightening shampoo's that gradually lighten it, also highlighting doesnt destroy the condition so much

Hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice, then blow dry or sit in the sun for awhile. But be careful, because you have brown hair, it could either turn blonde or red.
