Its nothing to worry about.

All users who don't have 250 posts and are not 3 months old on the site get that message. When you get to 250 posts then you will no longer have that message. It is just to keep spam and inappropriate content from being passed around the site.

If you have under 250 posts and have been here for under 3 months your VMs will be checked by a mod each time theyre sent. Its nothing bad, just to minimise spam and inapropriate comments.

This is true. We have to Moderate every message sent by new members just to be sure they aren't trying to get anything inappropriate or against the rules through. Well, of course, inappropriate is against the rules...so it's all the same!

It's just for your safety and those of others.
