What's the best cutscene you've ever seen in a video game for whatever reason? Dramatic, filled with explosins, moving...etc?

Basically for me, all the ones in Heavy Rain. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_Rain)

It would have to be some of the Cut Scenes in Gears of War 3 and anything made by SquareEnix lol

Crysis 2

The entire game is just a prolonged cutscene... with QTE's.

I like the GTA Vice City ones. Specifically, when Tommy tells Sonny the deal went sour.
Great voice acting in that game

Thresher Maw vs. Reaper in Mass Effect 3. I'll just let the cutscene do the talking for me. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMIe_2vxNt4)

And I guess the introduction of Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid, too. "Reading your memory" and "making the controller move with his mind" was really ingenious.

I've been told this is a great game, I'm looking forward to asking for it for Christmas.

See, I play games purely for the story and cutscenes and treat games more like interactive stories...

I've always like the cutscenes from Tomb Raider: Underworld. I believe it's in that game where the mansion blows up and all the glass shatters but it starts out by showing the destruction but then plays backwards, putting the house back together before it explodes.

Also, anything from the Mass Effect series or most Bioware games. Their stories are brilliant and I do love them.

I've always liked the MacGregor scene from Call of Duty 2. The Captain wants McGreggor to drive a German truck, but MacGregor has trouble because the controls are in German. The Captain tells him it's like driving any other car-- use the pedals to speed up and slow down and the wheel to steer.

can't link it, but the finale cutscene's in Dead Island.

SPOILERS

When Jin gave her speech, I lost it. I completely hadn't expected her to die, either. Very moving.

One of my favorite games of all time.

Mirror's edge was probably the best, it had a cartoony anime feel and the ending made me cry still to this day.
ALSO, Fahrenheit(Indigo Prophecy) in the cut scenes you make decisions and get to use the analog sticks to do fighting moves etc. and just search Fahrenheit Oracle fight scene. IT'S SOO GOOD AND WAS MADE IN 2005

... You totally stole my idea. MGS had pretty solid cutscenes too though. And Zack's death in crisis core. That one was really f*cked up.
