School Sex Ed

When do schools usually start the sex ed crap. I know in 5th grade I had the your body crap but when do they do the sex ed I want to be prepared D:

Sex ed was part of my health class. It was done 5th grade, 7th grade, and 10th grade. Those were the years where sex-type stuff was included.

Yea i remember in 5th grade the Your body and You talk....but nothing more informative yet...I think in HS there is a marriage and family course that does that but that's only for 11th grade and above

I went to Catholic school so they never really taught us any of that. They did, however, teach us about the 'morality' behind it.

For me, I learned about it in 5th and 8th.

Started in year five and then every year since but really a lot of sex ed isn't that helpful if you really want to know looking it up yourself or going into your health centre/ sexual health clinic might be more informative

for me we learnt the basics in years 4-6 then in year 9 we started PSE lessons again and learnt the rest but I think that's changed so between years 7 and 9 you learn about it now. Depends on the school really.

In 5th grade we had the part where the boys and girls go to separate classes and learn about puberty.
The actual sex ed (if you can call it that) was in 9th grade. They basically just taught us about STDs. The rest was basically directed towards the girls in the class. Where to get birth control, going to the gyno, stuff like that.

At my high school it's required for all freshman, but it's only a half-year class (they just call it Health)

The 5th grade puberty video and then this past year I had to take a half year health course. Wasn't much sex Ed. Just stds and birth control. We had to write something about one std and one form of bc.
