I was just curious to see how normal this is. Ive been naked around my family alot. We are very open and its no big deal, my brother and sister are nude the most but my parents will walk around naked sometimes on the weekends. Just this past weekend mom cooked breakfast while wearing a robe that she lost the sash too so it stays wide open for all of us too see lol

So does anyone else do the same with there family???

I was about 12 when I started to feel awkward being naked around my family and I only recently stopped having showers with my younger sister who is 6 and she walks around in her underwear still sometimes in the summer lol. Sometimes my mom after showering will run from the bathroom to her bedroom quickly and yell naked mamma coming through lol. That's about it for us though. I think its about as normal as a nudist family whatever floats your boat lol it's normal for some people and not for others.

No, I find it incredibly awkward. I'm not even comfortable being in just my underwear around my family. MY brother will walk around in boxers every now and then, but that's as close as any of us come to being naked around each other.

That's not what I'm implying, you're assuming that's what we're implying by saying it's not normal. My personal opinion says it's wrong specifically because it's a family member, while yes you live with them and you're close and whatever - to me it's the same principle as incest. I just think it's wrong, you don't have to listen to my opinion. I just prefer to keep my bits covered. If you want to do that, go ahead nothing is stopping you. I'm comfortable being naked, just not around family members so no most won't have that issue. Bodies aren't a dirty thing no, but not everyone needs to see it.

There are a few family oriented nudist parks and resorts throughout southern California. It's all in how you look at it, It's a way of life for a lot of families. It is just nudity, and nudity should be normal and a freedom to be without clothes. There is nothing incestual, sexual, or perverted about it, unless you make it out to be.

I live with my mom and sister. The 3 of us are almost always nude at home. And for us it just seems natural, and we love the freedom.

Outside of blacks beach and the one in San Onfre i haven't heard of any other places in so cali i Think there was one arond El Cajon but i think it's gone now. Do you know the names of any others? and if under 18 can you go to them without your parents?

I know there a 2 or 3 resorts in Palm Springs. There is Olive Dell in Colton, Deer Park in San Bernardino, Glen Eden in Corona. And there is a resort in Newberry Springs which is near Barstow. Those are the only resorts I know of, not sure on the age requirements. And of course there is Blacks Beach and San Onofre.

I'm an only child and my parents are nudists, so when I was younger my family was a lot like yours. But later, when I became a teenager, I started to feel awkward being naked around them, so I stopped. I didn't say anything, but they kinda sensed it, so now the only time I see them naked is if I catch them before they go to bathroom to shower or something like that. It's not incest, where are you getting this idea that nudity equates sex? My family is very casual about nudity, we all see each other all the time, nobody thinks anything of it, and we definitely don't associate sexuality with it.

I agree nudity isn't the same as sex but it would be wierd if i or anyone in my house started going around nude i think that is something that happens early like 3-5 years old and then it's just the way it is

My stepdad sees me naked from time to time mostly when I'm coming out of the shower. If he's the only one home when I'm going to take a shower then I leave the door open because I don't like being closed in plus it lets the steam out. He doesn't really care and he doesn't gawk at me.
