So im going to college for the first time in the fall, and i started talking to this girl who will be going there too, and we hit it off. Like we would constantly stay up past midnight texting each other. We were almost sure we were going to start dating once we arrived at college. Well, we met at orientation, and cuddled for a little bit in our free time then, but she was mostly with her roommate for the fall. Well shortly after, she told me that she wants to have a chance to explore her options. About us dating, she said that its "not never, just not now." This absolutely sucks and its breaking my heart, because it was pretty obvious we were pretty damn close to perfect for each other. How do I stay friends with her and get her to come back to me when the time is right? I happen to have mild anxiety, and it kills me that she doesnt text me as much as she used to. Please help. Thanks

If a girl tells you not right now, just accept it. You will almost definitely (not impossible, but highly unlikely) have no chance if you try to "win her back," and prove what a great guy you are. Just give it time; there really isn't anything you can do right now. Don't let your anxiety take you over, if this doesn't work out, just try again.
And you couldn't have been that "close to perfect" if she doesn't want to take it any further right now.
Just keep her as a good friend, and see what happens from there.
