Summer camp for curious, bi and gay teens???

Out of curiosity I looked up summer camps for the "not so straight" and to my surprise I found a large number of them. :D I would like to go to one possibly but probably won't have the chance. That being said, have any of you heard of something like this and would you/have you gone?

Heard of them but don't know of any...i would love to go to one just to be able to not have to be someone who i'm not

Yeah, there was one going on near here not long ago--I know a few people who had gone to it as well.

It seemed cool, but I'm not one for summer camp stuff, queer or no.

I would find it interesting. However, I don't think that I would have the time, nor would my parents be too enthusiastic about sending me 'someplace gay'. But I think that I would enjoy it, it would be a relief to be able to be me and not feel like I had to 'act lesbian' or 'act straight'.

I never even knew about something like this, but I doubt I would go until I came out to my mom first.

well I'm lucky because I go to an lgbt group every week. but our leader also took 3 of us to a gsa leadership camp this summer. there were actually very few lgbt people there, but it was still soooo fun XD

I would be really careful to find out who is running them. My fear would be (especially in the USA) that they could be run by right wing Christian groups trying to 'cure' you.

Otherwise, sounds like a fun way to meet people. I don't know what happens on 'camps' but its not like we're old enough to hit nightclubs, so something is better than nothing :P
