I think a guy needs both qualities. I don't want a more feminine guy, but a guy that shares his feelings.

I like a masculine guy. No offense to any guy here who is feminine, but I couldn't date a fem guy, simply because it's just a little too much for me. I like a guy who is gay, but you wouldn't know it unless they told you. I'm not big on guys who sensationalize their sexuality. Just not my type.

I generally like people who screw with roles/boxes of masculinity and femininity [so, either androgynous or something], but if I had to say, I suppose I lean towards feminine guys.

Blimey I want a bit of all your guys having read that :P
My boyfriend is spot on for me. Sensitive but male with it. Although he's younger he knows what he wants and can be assertive without being ridiculously macho about stuff, which I like. Gracefully masculine.

I much prefer feminine guys. I don't think it's something to be ashamed of. I just prefer the girly voices, long girly hair, figures without body hair, often total whimps and oversensitive, etc. I've been trying to be like this myself lately. I can like a guy who is buff and masculine as well, but I just prefer the feminine ones. That T word... am I allow to say that here?
Like I said, I don't feel about it. A feminine guy can still be less "gay" than a masculine guy, imo. All the different types of gay guys fall under the same umbrella, and I think we should all get along and respect the different types, rather than saying bad things about gay guys who happen to act more girly. Just my two cents.

Both, honestly. My bestfriend is what the world would consider "emo" and "scene" which is a bit feminine, but he's still hot. Then masculine guys... Whewwwwwww ;)

Masculine. No offense meant, but, if I wanted a feminine type of person - I would date a girl.

I understand where you are coming from, I like boys to be themselves, the issue I have is with fakers.
A lot of guys project a macho caveman thing that is pretty fake (I notice it because I have different friends out of school and there's some different 'rules' (not that I care lol).
A lot of gay guys can do this stereotype girly thing which irritates me just as much when it feels faked
BUT
Some guys are just naturally manly (in which case, rawwwwr)
Feminine on a boy can just mean they aren't faking all that stuff like many guys
I guess why I'm posting is that if anyone said my boy (or me) was a girl I'd get really annoyed at them.

Ok, so there is no problem with liking a more masculine guy, or even stating that, but when people pull the "If I wanted someone feminine I'd date a girl!" card, that's when my big mouth has to get in.
First off, putting gender roles, and gender stereotypes on people, especially in the queer community puts us ten steps back, and is quite honestly hypocritical. As gay and queer people, we're fighting the norm that you can only date the opposite sex,and that's what only qualifies as true love.
So just like you saying, you would date a girl if you wanted someone feminine, that's about the same as say being feminine makes you a girl, and being masculine makes you man,and there is no wiggle room. Just loving the opposite sex makes your love legit, loving the same sex makes you a sexual deviant.
There are many masculine and feminine men, and many masculine and feminine women, just because they might lean to one side doesn't make them less of what they are. [/endrant]
Maybe it's just my soap box, maybe it's because I'm an androgynous man, but something about that just makes me get wired up.

I will be very honest, I like them both. Joshua is the opposite of me, he is masculine and I am somewhat feminine...BUT he backs down really quickly, he is intimidated very easily BUT if you go after him I instantly become super masculine and basically the last person you ever want to deal with.

I LOVE a guy who is manly (not necessarily packin muscle but you get me), bold, very outgoing and likes to laugh. I love it when they have a sweet/kind side to them. For example, they have their public image of being bold, strongly opinionated, not really feminine at all and then they are smiley and sweet around you, and do things specifically to you to make you laugh and smile!!
So I would have to say masculine if i had to go black and white w/ the answer.

I find overly fem guys annoying, but it's not too bad. If I could choose, I'd pick masculine, but if a fem guy is really nice, then I would deal with it.

I would like a nice guy. Abs and muscles is a bonus.
I don't want one of the stereotypical gay guys who is very much like a woman and wears pink ALL the time. Though I've never actually seen them in real life, but you know, the ones wearing latex or all-sequin suits in a pride parade.
I wouldn't care whether they like musicals (I do too :P), girl-orientated music, wore fashionable clothes or stuff like that.
It doesn't really matter. You don't choose who you fall in love with.

I like masculine guys. Everything about a guy can be sexy from his nose to his legs to his fingers. Abs don't do anything for me though.

I prefer someone who has both types of qualities. I want them to be the guy in the relationship and be assertive and strong (not too muscular). But then I also like guys that maybe wear some make up (not much). Not overly feminine or overly masculine

I like guys who are fairly masculine, but who still show their emotions, and don't have a "tough-guy" attitude.
I think feminine guys are really disturbing.
Being feminine to a degree is okay, but sometimes I hate being gay because of the fact some guys are basically girls in the way they act.
At the end of the day, they're male, not females.

I'm not really in to guys but I'll reply anyway...
I have a few gay male friends but I prefer the masculine type because the feminine types actually almost creep me out. For a lesbian's company, I love the girly girl types but then again I like girly girls! Sometimes I do not care but every feminine acting gay guy I have met they were a bit annoying but sweet in their own way, and they would tease me because they would wear really nice perfume, and being in a crowded hallway I hated to find out that it was a guy not a hot girl who smelled so nice!
Ah well I digress... But anyway to me feminine is to females! That is it really!
