journals: kurt cobain

i read the journals of kurt cobain the other day.that is one of the most deppressing things i have ever read.he was hurting so much inside.inside are so of the best pieces of songwriting ever.has anyone else read this?

exerpt from the book: Its time now for all the "fortune" ones,the cheerlesders and football jocks to strip down naked in front of the entire school and plead with every ounce of their souls for mercy and forgiveness, and to admit they are wrong.they are representitives of gluttony and selfish values and to say that they are sorry for condoning these things will not be enough,they must mean it.they must be petrified to ever think of being the stuck up, self righteous,segregating,guilt spreading,ass kicking,right wing republicans of the future.

I read them a couple years ago. I think I'm gonna reread it soon. I remember it was pretty sad and I loved reading it, but I don't remember much about it other than that.

I read it too, but I think I was kind of too young to get what he was talking about. There's an interesting comic book version of his story out there too.

I read parts of it for reference on a school project. Sadly, I did not continue to read it after I found what I needed. I will probably pick up a copy sometime down the road.
