Small red spot on penis

yeah i have a small pimple like red spot on penis like the other hair spots, BUT deep red and have been there for around 4 months? (before sexually active)
i have been sexually active recently but it was there before it, any ideas?

you didn't say if it was toward the end of the penis or the part tht has no hair folicles. if its the latter and no hair folicle than i would see a doctor. sometimes hair folicles can become cloged and get infected and should clear up on it's own and 4 months is a long time for that. People don't realize that you don't have to be sexually active to spread certain types of std's for example you touch someone that has an open herpe sore and then you go to the bathroom and touch yourself now your infected and you can give it to your partner when you have sex. hope you take the advise and go see a doctor and not wait another 4 months

Get it checked as it could be a variety of problems. Also remember that like the face, your penis can have what is known to be acne like symptoms. Be sure to wash regularly especially if you are uncircumsized (being uncut causes a variety of bacteria to grow within the folds of the skin if not washed properly).
