Help!

Hi, I'd like to ask a favour. I'm not that good with computers and my knowledge is really very basic. My father left me quite a bit of money, so I've decided that I'd like to buy an iPad or tablet or whatever they're called. And that's where you come in.

What or which one should I buy? I've read the posts on here, including my own, of course, but none of them have helped me decide.

Please don't get into arguments or slanging matches over this, but I really would like to get your advice and comments.

The price really isn't a problem, and if you would keep the info of what the thing does or can do very basic, that would be great. Thanks :)

It really depends on what you want to do with the tablet. If you want lots of apps and a simple to use UI I'd recommend the Ipad. However if you're not a fan of Apple or just want loads of customizability you should get an Android tablet. Another option would be to wait until October and then get the Surface tablet.

If your looking to get a tablet right now, then personally I would recommend the Ipad.

Do you really want a tablet? If you're looking for something to use as a computer, go with a laptop. If you're really wanting a tablet though, not to use as a computer on it's own, I can only say that the iPad is cool, but very basic unless you spend money on apps. I fail to see a huge purpose in tablets honestly, but that's just me.
