Recently one of my nipples has poked out. Its not just the tip like it usually is, it feels like there is a rock under my whole nipple and its only on one of them. What is this?:what:

A rock? o.O If it feels like it's a bump or something really unusual you should get it check by a doctor, otherwise it's just nipple-hardage. :) Nothing wrong with that.

Nipple hardage? not so sure about that. What I do kniw us that when you're going through puberty, you get both male and female hormones. So of those female hirmones can build up in the chest abd cause a bit of lump or.breast. They do go away after a while. The lump is where the hormones are fighting to become dominant.

You probably have a condition called gynecomastia. DON"T PANIC FIRST THOUGH!!! Gynecomastia is common to most guys during puberty and its completely normal.Gynecomastia is a condition in which breast tissue forms in guys, usually due to normal hormonal changes during puberty. In a guy, hormones produced in the testicles are responsible for the physical changes that begin to take place during puberty — facial hair, muscle development, a deepening of the voice, and the lengthening of the penis, for example. Guys and girls produce both androgens (hormones that help develop and maintain male characteristics) and estrogen (a hormone that is responsible for most female characteristics).
Guys have mostly androgens in their systems, but they also have small amounts of estrogen. In girls, breast growth is caused by high levels of estrogen. Normally, when going through puberty, a guy's production of androgens increases significantly, whereas estrogen production remains low.
However, sometimes guys produce enough estrogen during puberty that some breast tissue develops. Breast tissue growth in guys can appear on one or both sides of the chest, and the breast area can feel tender. This doesn't mean you're turning into a girl or anything. It's just a minor change in your hormones as you begin to grow into adulthood.

I think this part right here should rise red flags. If it doesn't go away, you need to see a docter. Asap. This is very odd and shouldn't be taken lightly. Keep an eye on it for a few days and if it doesn't change, or if it gets worse, go to the docter. ~Holli

Go to the doctor and have it looked at...even if it doesn't wind up being something serious, at least you will know for sure.
