So I had some friends over at my place to hang out 2 girls and 1 guy, while me and my friend where talking in the kitchen, the girls got onto my computer that I forgot to lock, I had some some porn up and it was super embarrassing , everyone was acting really weird and tense after that, I tried to play it off but it is only possible to a certain degree in this situation. I also had some other private stuff that I didn't want anyone to see, I'm afraid they won't hang out with me anymore, the girls that is. Or tell people making me look very awkward.
Is it as bad as it seems? help

They probably went home and watched some porn themselves that night mate; chill out, near everyone owns or watches some type of porn; especially teenagers. It'll be fine, just play it down as a joke if it still feels awkward when you're around them.

I would just try to patch it up, even openly discuss it because if you don't the awkwardness might hang around. The reason why they might be creeped out is because they might not be into watching any type of porn or they may find it discussing and then they think that it reflects on you as a person.

My advice if next time you meet up with them and things are awkward. Talk to them about it and just say. "I watched porn, so what" and just talk to them and if they don't like it then you will have to deal with that. As if is going to be awkward then how can you hang out in the first place. Again if everything appears to be fine then don't mention it.

Good luck with this.

You probably don't have to worry, unless they seem kind of prudish. My friend and I found a TON of porn on her guy friend's phone a couple years ago and we sat there watching it and teasing him, but we weren't freaked out by it at all.
It's perfectly normal to watch porn, at 17 they should be mature enough to understand that.
Maybe make a joke about it. That's what I normally do in that kind of situation. Make it seem like you aren't embarrassed by it.

Well, it was on your computer in your home. What you do is your business, not your fault really that they went on it and found it really.
Tell them that if it seems awkward, it's your business so big deal. We've all watched it at some point in our lives, if they haven't...that's kind of weird to me. But that's just me.

Its ok dude, happens to the best of us. Just play it off as a mistake and at least it will be a good laugh in the future. You have nothing to worry about!
