My Dad most likely has bladder cancer again. My Dad had cancer about two years ago, and was treated and had it removed, and was cancer free ever since. Last week he went for a check up thinking he would be good, but was told that the doc saw a spot on his bladder again. He had four biopsies the other day on four spots on his bladder. We will be getting the results back in a few days, but its most likely the cancer again because we were told that its easy to treat, but its also easy for that kind of cancer to come back. If he does have the cancer, then he would have to have treatments again. We do get Aflac checks, but its only so much for such a situation. So, we are already tight on money, and its just going to be even more tight paying for more medical bills.
Its been emotional this past week, because it was kinda a shock since he was fine after the surgery. I dont know your religions and your beliefs, but Im a big Christian and I have tons of family and friends praying, and I know for a fact that the Power of Prayer works. So, all I can do is pray. I have been keeping my head up high, and enjoying the wonderful moments of life, because Im not me if Im not the bright person that I am. I hate being all depressed, but I do have my moments. Anyways, my Dad probably has cancer again and it freaking sucks.c:(

I'm sorry to hear, Bryce. It's hard having parents battle cancer. Both of mine have had it in the last 12 years. I don't remember a lot of my dad's experience with it and it didn't effect me a whole lot because I was only 5 and he wasn't around too much to begin with. But when my mom got sick it was really hard on me. We didn't really have any money at all and my dad was already out of the picture, so it was just my mom and I going through it together. She had a lot of complications and it lasted a lot longer than it should have, but she's okay now. Keep your chin up, bud, I'm sure your dads treatment will go well - if it is indeed cancer. I wish the best for your family and your dad's health.

I'm really sorry Bryce. I haven't had an experience with this, but I know that it must be tough. Stay strong, for you, your family, and for your father  I'm always here if you want to talk.

Tell him how much you love him everyday. Remind him to never give up and to battle it off again. IT sucks to see families hurt like that. Its devastating and heart breaking. Just keep doing what you do and stay strong. He will get better. I will send a prayer your way.

I'm really sorry to hear this, no person should have to battle cancer. I can relate to you in a since, that my mom had breast cancer, the treated it, she had a few problems with the radiation, but then became well, and was cancer free for a couple of years, its now 2012, and shes back to having it again, she goes into surgery on Friday, and I will be praying. So keep praying, be strong and keep your head up, if your dad does have cancer, I wish him and your family, all the best of luck in beating it, if you wanna talk more, please let me know.

Well, Dad went to the doctor today to get the results, and two out of four spots that were found are cancer. He will have to start the treatments in August, and they will be like last time. Thanks for the Thoughts and Prayers everyone, it could have been all four or worse. Anyways, Thanks Again :)
