Help, my friends life sucks.

My friends dad divorced from his mom, and he was an alchoholic. He got a new girlfriend, and started recovering, but just as he recovered and got a job, his girlfriend left and stole like 5,000 dollars. He called the cops, and she made false charges about abuse, etc. Now he's in jail for a really long time, and, yeah. Any advice?

Show him you care, hang out with him, be nice to him. Just comfort him in hard times.

Just be kind to the poor guy, if he is having it hard just give him a shoulder to cry on...

and like they say, just do whatever you can for him, and just talk, crack joke or two at the leech's expense, whatever helps him feel better

but this is what i hate about us.
we have the great people that help, and then the people who leech off of others, even the ones in bad condition. ughh...
