so im a dancer and i also do track. Well, ive been lifting weights for track, but was wondering if lifting weights will also help me with my dance? i neeeeeed to stay flexible b/c thats so important in dance. so if i just stretch everyday will i continue to get flexible? or will weights actually make things worse?

for as long as you keep stretching you shouldn't notise any diference. i suppose that if you start gaining alot of mucles you wont be as flexable as you as you would be with less muscle.
but i don't think you need to be worried as i think you will need to gain alot of muscle before you will have any problem with your dancing.

if it will help you im not sure, i don't know what kind of dancing you do but i can asume that abdominal strength can be quite important, arm and leg muscles aswell.

Umm if you're lifting weights it helps you have a stronger upper body! Guys need to have strong arms, and of course able to lift the girls up!
