You could ignore it...you like the types of people you like and have your reasons for it. It's possible too that they may just be giving you a hard time, as in joking around with you.

That's what friends do-they rip on you no matter what. Sounds like they're only playing, so tease them back (in a light-hearted way of course). Have fun.

My friends did that to me with my first boyfriend. They didn't like how he looked. I told them they will respect me and him because this is the guy that I like, so be happy for me or hit the road. They only made one more crack about him after that and it was their last, we're still not friends and I really don't care I don't want friends that can't respect me. My current BF got into a fist fight with his one friend for calling me the Flat Chest Queen. I'm not, nor was I there, but I'm sorry by bf's got such lame friends.

I think you could just ignore it and be happy that you like who you like regardless of them.

It's just 'banter' (that's an English thing, I guess everyone else says teasing), don't be like this about it. I know it's hard when you like someone and it's incessant but if you do it back you learn to take it I think. I do it a lot to my friend about the girl he likes and he does it back about the guy I like, not because he's judging the guy or doesn't like the fact I'm gay but it's justa bit of fun :P

That happened to me with my ex, she was a little bit chubby. She wasn't obese, just not skinny.
I just ignored it.

If you fear one day you're going to believe them and snap and forget about the one you like, because of them, you could ask them to knock it off.
