Why are their more straight people than gay or bi people?

Why are their more straight people than gay or bi people. I know that is a question not relating to my sexuality but I would like to know, being in the minority makes me feel insignificant and as if I am different from everyone else.

I think that's a question that we won't be able to answer for quite some time, but if you think about it, and I really hope that no on takes this the wrong way, but it wouldn't make sense to have a load of people who can't mate lol. In evolutionary terms, you know, I'm not saying it's like, wrong to be gay, but you can understand what I'm saying.

I don't think anyone really knows why anyone is gay or straight or whatever, so until we do, no one can answer that question.

If you believe in evolution, the answer will make a lot more sense - humans need to breed in order to survive. There's those rare or unfrequent occurences when people have something differently, or just turn out different. But in some way, I guess nature intends most of us to be straight so that it will be ensured that we can pass on another generation.

I guess that's a bit scientific and a bit flawed, but that's what I think anyway! :P No one knows the true answer anyway

Well surely that means it can change more in our favour depending on nature at some point in the future. But evolution wont bring us to that point while were alive so what do we do in the meantime.

Lol, I can understand your frustration, but it's not like you can convert people to being gay. If everyone was homo, then we wouldn't be nearly as awesome as we are! Being gay sets us apart from everyone else, sometimes that's a bad thing, sometimes it's a beautiful thing :)

I meant through evolution. Not anything to do with what me you or anyone else says or does.
