is it true what they say about mountain dew that it lowers your sperm count???

No, it doesn't lower your sperm count. But Mountain Dew does contain a fair amount of caffeine I believe, which is a stimulant. I'm not saying that's necessary a bad thing, but it's something you should know if you have a hypersensitivity to caffeine or something.

I heard the same thing about mountain dew, but I thought it kills them off or makes you sterile. But I would think that root beer has more caffeine in it.

mythbusters tested it its not a spermicide, in fact they counted more live sperm in the one with cola than in the one with saline solution

There is also a myth that is going around that yellow 5 in food products supposedly makes your penis smaller. This is true, but the amount of yellow 5 in the foods or drinks is very small and you would have to drink like a gallon of yellow 5 in one sitting for it to have the slightest effect. At least this is what I have heard. Just dispelling that myth for anyone who heard that.
