He ruined her life, he ruined the family's lives. 5 years old, and her life is already worse than it should have ever been. To a certain extent its no different to a fetish and/or sexual orientation, for all we know maybe they dont have a choice just as a gay person prefers people of their own gender. pedos could realize its wrong and be with a adult but might never be as happy as with someone they might feel naturally inclined to.

Make no mistake i think violating a childs innocence like that is a unforgivable crime and is a horrible thing but for all we know it could be hard for them, potentially like a few centuries ago being gay was a horrific thing but as time has progressed people have realized its not bad and is just something you're born with and a natural attraction to people, maybe in a few hundred years pedophilia could become some kind of recognized condition where it isnt condoned but stopped and they can get help with it.

As far as the ones that hurt children, fuck that. I think if anything, we should probably feel worse for them, seeing as they aren't as strong as those who can kep it under control. I feel worse for the children. That's a bit of a soft spot for me.

Pedophilia is like any other fetish and should be treated as such. However, this is a fetish that harms people physically and mentally, and it must be treated like any psychological disorder. That's not to say it IS a psychological disorder, but pedophiles do need some form of mental treatment so they can properly control the urges they experience. They are not sub-human specimens that should be put to death for their problems. Anyone who judges a pedophile is probably a hypocrite, because they would most likely become defensive if someone judges THEIR fetishes.

I feel pity for them, they have to bear a curse that woolly opposes the status quo, they have to endure a natural function that they have no choice to change. They have to learn to fight something ingrained into their very nature. However if they fall to their urges I feel something that is similar to apathy, they could have chosen not to traumatize someone, they did something terrible and had no self control, but even then the feelings still won't go away. Again, though, not many pedophiles, zoophiles, ect. will fall into their urges.

I was waiting for this. He was a pedophile turned molester then.
I eavesdropped on my neighbor as she confided in my mom then.
Apparently he'd been known as a creep, he'd be seen hanging around playgrounds as kids were on the field in recess. Of course the cops were called but since he didn't do anything he was asked to stop. When he was caught for touching her 5 year old grandchild, they went in his home. They found dozens of love letters he'd written to the poor girl and stashed away. How they had this bond and she was his "angel", not every man needed a woman but a child who was an angel. And he loved her and he was happy he'd get to spend every day with her but he didn't know how much longer he could contain it. They also found several photos of her he'd taken with his phone and printed out.
He knew, he knew he was fully, 100%, completely, and truly, aware he was wrong and sick. He knew he'd touch her one day, he'd ruin her life and others, but he decided to act upon his sick and twist "love" for her because he was so attracted to her and adored her.

He preyed on her and then snapped. We're enraged he chose to do such harm instead of seaking out help.

Pedophiles that act on their sexual interest to children are molesters, they're still pedophiles. So what? I'll agree with some here. If we'd stop making them feel like they're monsters that will never ever change and let them go get help openly, maybe we'd see a drop in the child sexual abuse cases for those that fear they can't help themselves. Regardless I'll be keeping my under consent age sister company when she needs to go out somewhere and no else is available from now on.

Pedophilia isn't actually that abnormal. In the past, it was perfectly normal for a 13 year old to be given to a 50 year old. If you look at Japanese anime, much of it consists of screaming little girls with abnormally large boobs.

It is traumatising to be abused at a young age but I don't really think all pedophiles should be burned at a stake and sent to hell. It's quite normal, society is probably what makes it taboo and bad.

Kids are easy to manipulate and it's even easier to make us STFU because, well, we're small, they're big. It wouldn't be hard to molest a child. What I think appeals to them, though, is how vulnerable and controllable we are.

Yes, there are paedophiles that "act on their sexual interest" and are child molesters but that specific group of paedophiles aren't who the question is about. It is about EVERYONE with paedophilia. And I re-fucking-peat: NOT EVERYONE THAT IS A PAEDOPHILE IS A CHILD MOLESTER. So therefore, this question wasn't, exclusively, about child molesters but about paedophiles. So saying you hate child molesters isn't even answering the question. Since they are just a part of the group of paedophiles that exist in the world. What about the rest? The ones that don't molest children?

And that we need to make them feel like monsters is idiotic. I doubt there are many paedophiles that go to psychologists and ask for help if they think they're seen as monsters. If people would agree that it is inappropriate in society and that they would be offered help without being judged I'm guessing a lot more paedophiles would feel comfortable asking for help.

The issue of child pornography is separate. Pedophiles have to get off to something and inherently preexisting child pornography is not a problem, however to produce it is very harmful and all measures should be taken against it. Opponents of the War on Drugs state that instead of just removing drugs, we should control them. Could you say the same for child pornography, to curb demand for illegal child pornography production through a rations style system of existing child pornography or computer generated child pornography?


I don't know, because what if the preexisting child porn featured pictures of you as a kid. would you be ok with weirdos getting off to them? i wouldn't. i know people could say "well you don't know who is looking at it so it can't harm you." but that just makes it even more of a mind fuck.

I guess the opponents of the opponents of the war on drugs (hope that makes sense!) would say that if people had easy access to drugs then maybe more people will want to try them and end up with drug problems. maybe if you had a certain amount of legal child porn then more people would want to view it and then maybe act on it? i think by looking at it, they are creating a demand for it, so technically they are contributing to the abuse of a child, because someone has to be abused for it to be made.
