Just got into top set GSCE

Yay, today I was going into top top set for my English GSCE's, this means I should get an A* and at least guaranteed an A!
I actually feel really proud for once :P

I remember those times. I was in top set too, I ended up with an A* in language and an A in Literature. I'm glad you feel proud of yourself!

Ah they have yet to call me to the head to tell me I'm moving down so I'm guessing I'll stay in top.
I hate the predicted grades they give you, apparently it's too much pressure predicting one grade so instead they give you somewhere to aim between. So instead of an A* it's A*-A, wow, so much less pressure. xD

It doesn't mean you're guaranteed an A, it just means that you're in a group of people who are EXPECTED to get that grade. You're still going to have to work as hard as any other student. A friend of mine when he sat his GCSE's kept on thinking that because he was in the top set meant that he would get a good grade... he got an E.
