Making friends

Hi everyone!
I'm currently on my vacation, but I'm stuck with my granparents, and it's getting boring. There are loads of local teens my age but I'm embarassed to approach them and to make friends. Any advice?

Honestly if you don't go up and interact with them then you won't get anywhere. I think that you just need to push back the embarrassment and go for it. I'm guessing you're on holiday? So if you make a fool of yourself (not that you will) it's not like you'll have to see them again. They'll likely forget about it anyway, just get to know them.

Here's the thing, I'm also shy too!! But one thing I learned which I'm starting to try is you'll never get to meet knew people if you don't open up and just do it, you won't get anywhere and you'll become more shy! Trust me, I know what I'm talking about because I'm experiencing it right now!
