PNG glitch

Hello. I've been having a problem with images recently.

In pictures, such as my sigpic, it shows as a white background. I actually made it a transparent background, and I used the right settings. It even shows up as transparent on my computer and on other sites.
This also happened with a sigpic someone else made for me.

So, I know it's not really that big of a deal, but is there a reason why my transparent backgrounds aren't transparent? Is there a way to fix this?

You need them to be 400x125 or 50.0kb for them to be shown as transparent in a sig.

Yeah, what Sam said, basically as soon as the forums resizes and downscales an image it ruins all the transparency, that's why when creating a signature you have to check the size. This can be done in photoshop through - File > Save for Web & Devices.
