My mom was talking to me about something that I was afraid of Not happening. My mom seen and hear it with her own ears and insists it did happen, but I have a different interpretation of it cause I heard/seen it too. I fear the worst and am afraid to believe her for fear of false hope, BUT when I settle down and go to bed thinikng positive like my mom said to, I wake up in the morning feeling empty and being afraid still. Almost as if it wears off.
If she is right about this, how can I finally believe her?
She is going out of her way to prove it to me and I can't see it.

I'm sorry but I can't really understand what you're saying from your grammar. Could you please write a bit more neatly and explain more about what's going on? We're only here to help so you can tell us.

I'm trying. Hope this is better.
My mom is trying to talk to me about a situation we both experienced but I have a different interpretation of it. I am afraid to believe the things my mom is telling me, because I have a fear of believing something false. She is going out of her way to prove to me she's right and I want to understand the situation the way she does, but I can't.
How can I finally believe her?

You're grammar in you're last post is excellent Mike; it's the lack of certain detail that throws me off. From just that I can't really give you anything I'm afraid; you could be talking about a dozen things, from religion to you're mum telling you you'll feel like a better, more happy person in the morning. If you don't mind; can you elaborate on exactly what you want to believe? It'll help anyone who wants/can give you advice a lot.

why is everyone afraid of the unknown? back when I had friends one of them was afraid to look under water at a beach, for fear that he would find something that would attack him. I dunked his head underwater until he realized there was nothing down there that would harm him. I always look under water because if there is something to harm me i can analyze it and better equip myself to defend against it. in your case you gotta accept the truth or whatever your mom is telling you. its hard to figure out what the hell you are even talking about because you are being so vague.
