How did you first get started on marijuana?

Note: I am NOT asking for information on where to get marijuana myself, or any specific details of that sort.

Im almost 19 years old, and I hear people say that theyve been at least offered weed, or smoke it themselves, but I have never been offered it myself (not that thats a bad thing). I was just wondering who first gave it to you, or how you first came upon it yourself.

Again, this may look sketchy, but Im just curious, im not looking for places to get it myself.

I never have and don't expect to start using it I have nothing against people who do it's just not for me.

Theres a girl at my school and shes a total druggy. She has a little crush on me and has asked me if i wanted some for free. She has done same with cigarettes, but i say no. And i see weed as a GREAT medicine and have nothing against it. It cures many people, i simply have reason to use it.

I had one friend who had been smoking weed for a while. I started hanging around more friends who did it too. Of course they would hide it from me because they were "ashamed" and whatnot. One day when I was 15, I went to my first "rage." My friend bought weed and we smoked it in the back. From then on, that friend had also introduced 50% of my other close friends to weed. I'm exposed to it all the time now because my friends always have it on them, but thankfully I stopped smoking.

First time I was offered it? Reggae concert also when I was 15. Everybody I knew there was smoking, some kids harassed me to try it claiming I was a pussy if I didn't. I ended up not giving in.

used to have this friend, brad that smoked pot, one day i was chillin with him and some kids showed up with weed. i had a UA the next day so i turned it down when they offered. about a month later i was walkin around my neighborhood at night just to get out of the house. i called up a friend and he said he wa at the elementary school downt he street. so i went up there. he was with an old friend of mine, they were smoking hash. i accepted and smoked it with them. later that week i went to the park and met up with brad, there were about 10 kids there smokin, there i bought weed for the first time. now, 1 and a half years later i still hang around the park and smoke with some friends of mine every weekend.

Back when i was 14, im not sure i remember once a friend giving me at least a cone worth but didnt get high, but later that term my friends and i did it, love it <3

I first started last August, although I had been interested in it for a while prior. Two of my friends invited me to the park to try nitrous oxide (laughing gas). When I got there, they pulled a bag of weed out to show me. I had about 30 seconds hesitation before deciding to try it. I don't get high very often, maybe once or twice a month on average.

I was 13, it was New Years Eve. I was hanging out with my brother who was 18 and a friend who was 15 and they were smoking. Our friend asked if I could try it, and my brother said sure and passed it to me. We've been smoking together ever since <3
