Not sur eif this is the right place for this or not?

Anyways im 14, 15 in 2 months time and I recently have been feeling down about stupid little things and just seem to get stressed easily and worry. This isnt my usual self and I have no reason to feel like this so im geussing it must just be puberty? I was wondering if this is a normal thing which occurs at a certain stage throughout puberty?

Thanks

Man just get out and go do stuff... go out for a drive around town with your parents or with one of your friends who can drive... When you start to worry about something just think about something else that you know you don't have to worry about..

thanks for the reply

Thats the thing though, I really enjoy my life. I have a great social life and I have a really good relationship with my parents and that. I just sometimes start feeling down over stupid little things and I dont get it

everyone has down times. you just need to do something to take your mind off things and not feel sorry for yourself. if you don't do that it will only get worse.

I completely agree with this :D Hormones in puberty can also cause mood swings, so you may get down easily. I suggest having fun, getting a hobby, or having multiple ways of getting out energy (for me, that's running and lifting weights)

everybody gets 'down', and those emotions are affected by the hormones of puberty. But, if you find that you're really down (as in it effects your ability to get on with it, to do what you need/want/like to do, or otherwise hurts alot) then regardless of it's cause, you should speak to someone about it, as it might be something more significant.

yeah. being 'down' is normal because of hormonal moodswings. but if you start feeling depressed, thats another story. you'll know the difference. you'll get over being 'down' in a few hours to a day or two if you have a social life like you say you do. depression will last longer and make you not want to talk or see anyone. which, as iamsam said, you should talk to someone.

I've already discussed this before, but I'm not necessarily down or depressed. I guess you could say I'm slightly depressed or down for a long period of time. Cause I'll see and talk to people, I just always feel bad.

i don't think its a stage in puberty, i think its just life. I feel down about things a lot too at times but its nothing to worry about. Try to talk with someone about whatever bothers you as well as do things that makes you happy.
