For all you Christians who is your favorite Christian artist? Mine is Phil Wickham!!! (do not bash this thread. Please be respectful as I am always respectful to others beliefs and likes.)

I love Relient k and Switchfoot. Also listen to a band from Australia called New Empire :) They're not Christian rock as God isn't mentioned in their lyrics, but they're a bunch of Christian guys who are amazing artists :)

The Devil Wears Prada, Close Your Eyes, The Almost, and Underoath. I'm sure I'm forgetting lots, but those are the first to come to my mind.

I don't like how you ask Christians, like as if Christians are the only ones that do or are allowed to listen to music that's influenced by Christianity. I'm an atheist but love music of all religions. In fact, Klezmer is one of my favorite genres.

Well, I guess good ol' gospel blues is what does it for me. Blind Willie Johnson is obviously the best their is. No doubt about that.

The boxset Goodbye Babylon (http://www.dust-digital.com/goodbye-babylon/) is the best collection of gospel music for sure.

Of course Gregorian Chants are very beautiful to consider.

And this... is IMO the magnum opus of religious Christian music.

Nothing tops Thomas Tallis's work. Fuck yeah. Orgasms everywhere.

I never said if you aren't Christian don't write here, I said if you aren't Christian, or don't like Christian music please don't bash this thread, because I know people will bash the thread. And if it sounded like I was coming that way, sorry, I'm not like that at all, and never intend sounding like that at all.

While not a Christian myself, I do enjoy some Christian rock bands. They make good music, atleast, some do. These are some of my favourites.

Absolutely brilliant song, Nine Lashes are a pretty new band, but one of the best Christian rock bands for sure.

Bryan Welch is a brilliant artist, it's too bad he left KoRn, but he still makes good Christian music.

I adore Baroque pieces, so my pick would be Buxtehude and Luly. There are others also.

Here we go. Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a Christian in the slightest, but I'll listen to any music as long as it sounds good, regardless of the artists' faith.

12 Stones
Advent
As I Lay Dying
August Burns Red
Before Their Eyes
The Chariot
Flyleaf
Family Force 5
Nine Lashes
Skillet
Red
P.O.D.
Project 86
Thousand Foot Krutch
Thrice
Creed
Evanescence

Some of those bands don't like to be called Christian bands, but whatevs.

(all of those are confirmed as Christian bands according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Christian_metal_bands))
