Doctors and Body Hair

Ok,
I think my last post went too far. I'm not looking for what you guys think about my doctor checking body hair, I was just wondering if anyone else has been through the same thing, and how did it make you feel? Thanks for the responses!

Doctors do not generally check body hair. What was the checkup for?

I've never had that happen. I don't see why the doctor would need to check body hair.

my doctor checks every square inch of my body when i get my sports physicals so yea, that includes body hair, and i have a good bit of it already LOL

Was this something other than a routine physical exam?

What was the purpose of the check? It certainly sounds unusual to me.....although in a complete physical you are asked to undress and most any area of your body is "up for inspection"

Doctors don't always discuss exactly what they are looking for when they poke and prod....

I haven't, but I wouldn't see it as anything short of knowing you're progressing along in puberty
