You can either ask your mom not to come in with you. Or if she does, the doctor probably wouldn't say anything unless it was health related. Just write a note in marker on your stomach? Haha I dunno, I think you'll be alright regardless of whether she goes in or not, but you can just ask her not to. Or she can step out when it comes time for that part.

you gain medical majority at 14. your mother doesn't have the right to come into the office during the doctor's exam if you dont want her to. it could be considered violation of privacy and an attempt at your constitutional right if she comes in without your consent.

I've been to the doctors before with my pubes shaved. They never said anything. Also, just ask her to leave. She'll have respect for your privacy.

If he wants you to get undressed, I'm sure he will ask her to leave. I can't think of any reason for the doctor to tell your mother that you shave there.

The doctor is probably going to wonder why you don't have any pubes at that age. Just make up some excuse like you shave them for sports or something.

trust me your doctor will have seen actual wierd things - shaving is so normal they won't say a thing or think it's wierd. If you have a penis piercing with a flashing LED he/she may comment.
Tell your mother you are old enough to go on your own/not comfortable. If she makes a fuss say it in front of the doctor and he will be legally bound to give you that privacy.

also doctor/patient confidentiality would mean the doctor cant mention your shaved self.

and well dont for shaving - thats hot ;)

why would a doctor tell your mom you shave -,- and why would she be bothered (your mom) if you did?>.<

So what if you shave? Its normal I asked my mom to buy a battery powered one for me and she did.

Yea shaving is nothing weird or unusual....the point that mom goes in with you is to me...I've been going into the doctor alone since I was 12...it is really embarrassing I can imagine especially at 17....I don't know about the legal thing but if the age of medical majority is 14 as said above...then you should mention to her that you would rather see the doctor by yourself and yes, he would agree I'm sure...

your 17 tell your mom you can make your own decisions. if shes that needy and goes in anyways, i doubt the doctor will bring anything up unless he needs to.

its not wierd to shave it so dont be embaraced. why does it really matter because it isnt her business what you do with your body.
