Girls with gay guys....question

I have noticed ever since I came out a little over a year ago, more girls want to hang than did before...Is this what I've heard that girls feel more secure with gay guys than others at our age cause they feel safer and wont' get hit on? OR is it because maybe we have the same likes/dislikes (i.e. hot guys) and can easily talk about things sexual

:-D I think it's both. Girls just need friends as everyone - and they want friends they don't have to worry will fall in love with them. Besides, gay people are mostly closer to girl way of thinking. But I always had more female friends and I'm not gay, so it's individual. Anyway, the most important thing is always your own personality. And I would be suspicious to girls who wanna be friends with you only because you're gay; I know some people like that.

I guess you will just have to find out with time. With some exaggeration, it's like if you'd be rich. You gotta separate people who just wanna youse your money :) But if the "friendship" starts like: 'Oh, it's SO COOL you're gay! Wanna hang out?' it seems pretty obvious
