personal talks. how?

I'm a bit shy. I have lots of friends but we don't talk about personal stuff and I really want to. It's nice on here to ask questions but I want to talk to friends. If I think about doing it I freeze and say nothing at all.

If anyone else is really shy and gets embarrassed by that stuff, have you talked to anyone? How did you start talking about it?

I used to be really shy around my friends I'm sorta one of those people who finds it awkward to talk about stuff. However my friend and I started working out together and we would talk about stuff, I mean the summer before while we were camping for boy scouts he told me he was going to ask out a girl and later on we started going to the gym together and we would talk, it started out with us just talking about stuff but then I asked him about a girl that is not my Girlfriend and we talk about EVERYTHING, it is great. I didn't want to talk about it at first either but I got more comfortable with it. Just start talking about regular stuff first, then transition to people you find attractive, then go on from there, it just takes time to get close enough and to get comfortable.

Simply gotta learn how to strike up a conversation. Be able to laugh off awkward moments. If they have any interest in the topic the conversation will feed off itself.

I am in the exact same position as you ish. I have ALOT of friends, nearly the whole school 2000 people like me. I am friends with them. But i don't have any best friends. I really wanna tell someone my secret or talk about experimenting or just normal things, I want to talk to someone i know i can trust but i just don't have a best friend. and tbh. I am closer to the girls than the boys and i don't think i could make a guy best friend but i want one ;(
