What you're describing is called razor burn, and comes from either sensitive skin or shaving without using cream. There's really no way to get rid of them, they will go away in about a week or two.

It could either be razor burn or ingrown hairs.

If you might think it's ingrown hairs (you can look in a mirror really closely and see if there's a hair in there), get a damp cloth with warm water and push it up where the bumps are. It'll soften the hairs and make them easier to come out on their own.

If it's razor burn, you can read a great and short wikiHow at this link (http://www.wikihow.com/Treat-Razor-Burn)
Razor burn is a rash or skin irritation. You can also use aloe vera gel down there which moisturizes and is great for skin irritations.

I've never shaved before, so I wouldn't know, but I'm thinking I might in the future when I actually have more hairs than I have now.

I did that before and it was so incredibly itchy I never did it again. Other people I've overheard complain of the same thing as well.

yer, i havent tried shaving, i have trimmed a bit, my advice, dont shave it, just trim it right down to the skin, and leave a bit of hair, like someone who shaves their face, and after a couple of days, they get some stubble, like that

Not even a week - I did it and the itch stopped after maybe 4-5 days. Then it grows back and it's scratchy - so I just shaved it again. (The things I do when I'm horny @ 5 A.M. and haven't slept for 48 hrs.)

yea i did it awhile ago, and it was too itchy, so i said i would never do it again, but i did. and so to prevent it, i just keep shaving it. but i have a few things in mind that i will try to prevent it the razor burn, and maybe i need to try a different shaving gel.

Follow MoveAlong's advice, and it should clear it up a little less painful.
