I know your only supposed to ask sex Ed questions but on the other formula it takes too long to get answers and assistance :/ ...So yesterday (July 5th) my friend passed away :/ . She was a pretty good friend of mine like we hung out in school and parties and stuff. She went cliff jumping slipped and hit her head on a rock. It's a horrible way to go and I still cant believe it's true. I just talked to her the other day and now she's gone. And in the beginning of the school year last year I had two of my good friends pass away in a car accident. I was just like recovering from their deaths still and was almost at I guess you can say "normalcy" again and then this happens. It's been a rough year to say the least. I lost a lot of good friends and it's just really rough. On the outside I appear normal and like I act like I am around people but on the inside I'm not. And also a month ago my dog that I had since I was 4 passed away... Granted it's not a person but it's still a huge part of my life and honestly was my favorite member of my family. She was always there to cheer me up and was a big part of helping me when I was down about my 2 friends dying but now she's gone and now this right after. It just sucks and I feel like shit and depressed. :/ . Has anybody here lost a friend or multiple and how did you cope? And moderators once again I'm sorry for posting on here.

I'm going to move this to the appropriate section, where it belongs.
P101  Depression, Loss & Grief.
I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Losing somebody close is never easy, but remember that we're all here for you in addition to people you know in person. If you ever need a talk, I'm just a PM away. Again, I'm sorry to hear about this.

Man, I understand what you're going through. I lost my sister, my grandma, my favorite dog, then one of my friends all in the same year while school was going on. It was tough. I acted like I was fine outside but inside, I was just dying.
All I did to cope back up to where I'm at now is to stay strong. Some people say that crying is for the weak but when really, crying helps out A LOT during situations like you're in right now. Plus, my friends get me to where I'm at too. Without them, I'd still be a mess.

It's really rough man and I'm sorry for your losses too! It's just crazy knowing that you just talked to them one minute and the next they are gone like that. I've cried a few times not a lot though when I was in school the day after my friends died everyone was crying even teachers so I let it out then too. But at home my family is always around and I don't like to cry in front of them. Ik they are there for me it's just idk for some reason i can't in front of them

Yeah, it was terrible for me whenever my sister passed away because EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE in the county I live in knew her so they all attacked me to see if I was ok and if I needed them to be with me. PLUS the news team came out to my house and I had to, yes, I HAD to do an interview for the news. What sucks about my sister passing away is that I didn't even say anything to her that day.
But in honesty, crying really does help, no matter who you're by or with. People will notice that you're struggling and will go comfort you to the best they can. I never really cried when I was at home. I just remember busting into tears after the news interview was over. And the day when my friend died, it was after a major test we have to take and I literally left school. I told the teacher I'm leaving. I couldn't handle it. I was going through enough stress as it was.

I'm really sorry to hear about all that. I've lost a few people in my life, my grandparents both died within a year of each other, and one of my uncles and a girl from my school both committed suicide. The death of my grandparents probably hit me the hardest, as they were great people and I was really close to them. I coped with the loss by picturing them in whatever kind of afterlife I could imagine. As for the girl at my school, I started writing a poem and I made a song called "Keeping On" cause one of her favorite sayings was, "Keep on keeping on." I hope she's in a better place.
Again, I offer all my condolences for your losses.
