Well there really isn't an average number (an accurate one anyway). Anyone that gives you an age will just be guessing. I'd say don't be so wound up on virginity and worry about other more important things. Worry about sex when you're in a committed relationship and are prepared for the consequences of sex. STDs and pregnancy aren't worth losing your virginity when you aren't prepared for it. Who cares how you stand to other people? Bottom like is that it's you who is responsible and liable for your actions.
